“My favorite time of the month” is the sentiment echoed by many Princess Louise members when referring to their chapter meetings.  Held on the second Tuesday of most months at a member’s home on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, these get togethers feature updates on British current events and culture, presentations by members or guests on specific topics of interest and brainstorming fund-raising ideas all in a very convivial and collaborative atmosphere. Meetings always close with an hour of fellowship with delicious refreshments, wine, tea, and coffee.

The Princess Louise chapter actively supports the New York State fundraising events including the annual Spring Luncheon and the newest annual event, the Winter Holiday Bazaar and is exploring new ways to raise money at the chapter level.  Health Advocates for Older People, a New York City-based charity, has been the chosen recipient of this chapter’s fundraising efforts and many chapter members are also HAFOP volunteers.

An enthusiastic and affable chapter, Princess Louise continues to grow in numbers and diversity. New members are always warmly welcomed
